Lily's birthday party was last tuesday. I decided to try and have it before everyone headed out of town for the 4th of July. It's hard planning a birthday around a major holiday, but this year we pulled it off and had a great party. My little eight year old princess wanted an Indiana Jones Birthday (I'm blaming Aunt Aimee and Uncle Chiz for this since we watched all of those movies at their house a few months ago.) Travis had a big treasure hunt for the girls to go on. It was funny to watch, we had them running all over our field (which is very brave considering most of them just had flip flops on--yikes), they hung from trees, aimed and threw water balloons at their target, which was Taylor--he was a good sport about it. We roasted hot dogs over the fire and ended the night with ice cream cake!
On Saturday, which was Lily's actual birthday, she was baptized. This was such a neat experience for our whole family. It was a little bittersweet, our girl is growing up! Everyone that came and supported Lily made it that much more special, thanks!

I wish that we could have been there- it seems that we have missed most of these important, fun things- I am glad that you are all doing so well and the kids are just growing up way too fast! Lilly still makes me cry when I see her cute little face! You all look so good- and is the picture in your house that I have never seen- it looks so lovely! We love and miss you!
