thoughts on potty training

Here's a picture of Arick showing his muscles and more importantly...wearing big boy underpants. I've put it off as long as I could, but once the kids went back to school I had no more excuses. So far I've only had one day that brought me to the edge. It was a very messy day in our house, thank goodness for hardwood floors. Since then he's gotten a little present when he uses the toilet. This is working great but while I was at Target spending a small fortune on little dollar toys today, I'm wondering how I'm going to phase this out. Any suggestions?
